Make Over Project

I had this old dresser in my basement ever since my parents moved to a condo 7 years ago. I decided I would give it a make over. I was inspired by a bunch of paintings a friend of mine gave me that she was going to throw out!

I cut some trim and added it to the front of the drawers, removed the old wooden handles and added castors to the bottom. Then I sanded it primed and painted it. Here's where the paintings came in. I took 2 of the paintings and cut them (oh yes, it felt a little sacrilegious) and attached them to the front of the drawers. Then put on new brass handles, et voila!!

Now it is in my living room.  : )
