CSA Box #2

Got my second CSA box at the farmer's market. 

Wow! Again filled with great stuff. Can't wait to start eating it!

I have plans for those tomatoes right now! YUM!  : )

My Sweet Ride

This is my bicycle. Just got a new rack for the back so I can ride it to do a little shopping 

and not have to drive the car every time.

I call it the silver bullet... 

Mocha thinks that is hilarious!! : )

Nature's Bounty

We got our first CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Box today. 

It is so great to get farm fresh local produce! 

So fresh and so delicious!

We also bought some corn while we were there...

YUM!! : )

New Pillow

 I made a new pillow with the fabric I designed with Spoonflower. 

I got some neat plaid fabric to make the back.

I had to get a new iron. Mine mysteriously cannot hold water for steam.

Hmmmm, could this have anything to do with 2 rambunctious boys hacking around in my basement?

I wonder.... : )

Cool Vintage Storage

Got this storage piece when I was in PA. Cleaned it up and lined the drawers with paper 

and I'm going to put my art supplies in it. 

Each drawer has a different pull and they are what makes it 

a unique and cool vintage piece!

Not only is it cool, it is useful! : )

Strawberries!

I went strawberry picking this morning. Some of the berries were huge! This is good because my buckets were filled up fast! Now I have already made some jam.

Eh voila! Yummy Strawberry jam! Think I'll go make me some toast... : )

More Pillows

Got some more of the fabric I used for my pillows on my swing and rocking chair on the front porch. So... I made some pillows for my Adirondack chairs as well.

My potted plants are starting to bloom and add some nice colour to the garden. : )
