Winter Wonderland

It has been snowing all day. White Christmas here we come.

It may be cold outside but it's cozy inside.  : )

I better get out there & start shovelling!  : )

                                     

Christmas Decor 2014

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Especially since it has been

snowing all day today. We have about a good 6" so far & no

signs of letting up! Here are some shots of the decor

for this year. I only took pictures of things that were

different from last year because I am pretty traditional & things

look very similar year to year.

Mum's Birthday

My Mum turned 87 on November 19th!

She is doing really well.

Vic 80's Pub Reunion 2014

Went to my 31st year reunion on November 15th!

Saw a lot of people I knew there.

Some have aged well, others not so much.

I had way too much wine but, had Lots of fun!

It was really great to see everyone but, it sort of felt like a

big wedding, in that you talked to a lot of people but not in any depth,

& you can't remember a lot of what was said.

Perhaps that is in some cases, a good thing!

Shutter Dogs

I bought these shutter dogs about 3 years ago when I was

visiting with friends in Pennsylvania.

They are antiques that I bought in an antique mall down there.

They have a wonderful patina of greenish paint which I left

as original to them. I finally installed them today.

I love the original patina on them. Unfortunately they are not

as noticeable in the photos but you can see them better in person.  : )
